Dr. Lopez believes that caring for children with debilitating and life-threatening conditions is his life calling and with such great privilege, comes great responsibility. For the last 10 years, Dr. Lopez has participated in humanitarian surgical missions in Nicaragua with an organization called Aproquen–an organization devoted to the free-care of burned children and children with cleft lip and palate.
